Distance learning courses were developed by specialists of the Donetsk Regional Institute of Postgraduate Education on the eve of the new school year.
Deputy Chairman of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Tamara Lukianchuk said, a Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“A distance learning course will help students, living in the area, affected by the antiterrorist operation, to be engaged in self-education during the suspension of the school,” Lukianchuk said.
The first two blocks are the lectures and demonstration lessons, assignments to students. The third block is cognitive. It gives students the opportunity to learn school material through role and playing scenarios.
The remote training is posted on the site of the Donetsk Regional Institute of Postgraduate Education.
As reported by Ukrinform, a decision was taken to postpone the school year in Avdiyivka, Donetsk, Makiyivka, Horlivka, Shakhtarsk, Yenakiyevo, Snizhne, Khartsyzsk, Zhdanivka, Kirovske, Yasynuvata and in Amvrosievsky, Novoazovsky, Starobeshevsky, Telmanivsky, Shakhtarsky and Yasynuvatsky districts, where there is no guarantee of safety from schoolchildren and teachers.
In total, out of 1,091 secondary schools in the region, classes will begin only for schoolchildren of 670 schools on September 1.
Jointly with their parents, who became internally displaced persons, 11,000 children went to other cities of Donetsk region, where they are given the opportunity to study at local schools.
