A new round of peace talks on the settlement of conflict in eastern Ukraine will take place tonight in Berlin with the participation of the foreign ministers of the so-called “Normandy Four “(Russia, Ukraine, Germany and France).
According to the press secretary of the German Foreign Ministry, this time a meeting has been initiated by Ukraine and Russia.
The parties are ready to discuss the ways out of the crisis in the wake of the recent increase in violence in the region, the Foreign Ministry spokesman says.
According to unofficial information, the meeting will begin at 20.00 (21.00 Kyiv time) in the guest residence of the German Foreign Ministry at the Borsig villa on Lake Tegel.
The last talks in such a format were held in Berlin on January 12.
