No additional obligations for Ukraine to receive IMF loan tranche – Groysman

Ukraine has not undertaken additional obligations to receive the next $1 billion loan tranche from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), which can be allocated after the meeting of the IMF Executive Board on March 20, Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman said during a Q&A hour in the Verkhovna Rada.

The tranche is granted in accordance with the terms already fulfilled by March 2017, Groysman said.

”I hear that there is a lot of hysteria regarding our cooperation with the International Monetary Fund … But you should know that the next tranche is allocated when the previous measures have been implemented. That is, the tranche that we can receive after the IMF Executive Board meeting to be held March 20, is a marker of the fulfillment of obligations as of March 2017, ”he said.
