NATO continues supporting Ukraine`s cyber defense

The Alliance consistently supports Ukraine in the area of cyber defense, as well as command and control reform, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said in his doorstep statement ahead of the meetings of NATO Foreign Ministers in Brussels March 31.

”We will close the ministerial meeting with a meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Commission,” Stoltenberg said.

He reaffirmed that it will be a ”strong sign of our continued commitment to Ukraine.”

”Our support is both political and practical,” said the NATO chief. ”And we are providing assistance in areas including cyber defense, command and control, and medical rehabilitation.”

Earlier, the Ukraine-NATO Commission will meet in the framework of the NATO top diplomats` meeting, to discuss the security situation in Donbas and Ukraine`s progress in implementing reform.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin will be attending the meeting.
