Naftogaz to raise gas prices for industry

NJSC Naftogaz Ukrainy, the largest Ukrainian state energy holding, on June 1, 2016, will increase the minimum prices for natural gas for industrial consumers by 6.2% compared to May 2016 – from UAH 6,474 to UAH 6,874 per 1,000 cubic meters, the company said.
At the same time, according to Naftogaz, the maximum price for natural gas for industrial consumers will increase by 1.1% – from UAH 7,518 to UAH 7,604 per 1,000 cubic meters.
As noted in the company, the price proposals of Naftogaz are differentiated depending on the volume of purchases, payment terms and the status of previous calculations.
Fuel prices are inclusive of VAT and tariffs for transportation through main and distribution pipelines.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Naftogaz of Ukraine lost its monopoly both for the supplies and the sale of natural gas since October 1 due to the entry into force of a new law on the natural gas market.
