More than 1100 militants killed in operation Zarb-e-Azb: DG ISPR
PESHAWAR (Web Desk) – Director General of Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) has said that more than eleven hundred militants have been killed during ongoing offensive (Zarb-e-Azb) in North Waziristan tribal region, Dunya News reported.Pakistan Army is battling insurgents in North Waziristan since June 15 to eliminate all local and foreign militant groups.Addressing a press conference on Wednesday, the DG ISPR said that 100 army men have embraced martyrdom in the operation.Around 44 terrorists have also been killed during operation in Khyber Agency, he added.He declined to give a timeframe for the end of the operations, saying these would continue …read more
