Moldova considers construction of high-speed railroad to Kyiv and Bucharest

Moldova is interested in constructing a new high-speed rail line that will link Chisinau to Bucharest to and Kyiv.
Minister of Transport and Road Infrastructure of Moldova Vasile Botnar told heads of respective ministries of Romania and Ukraine during a meeting in Istanbul, Turkey, according to web portal Ukrainian Railways.
“We have to make a decision in principle, and then move on to the development of investment projects and feasibility studies to consider the options to calculate costs and find financing,” he said.
As reported, Deputy Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Oksana Reiter has also expressed interest in such a project.
