Last night was not quiet in the area of the anti-terrorist operation in east Ukraine, the press center for the anti-terrorist operation has reported.
“Illegal armed groups eight times resorted to provocations and shelled the positions of Ukrainian military with small arms, grenade launchers, mortars and artillery,” reads the report.
According to the press center, on Friday, January 2, militants fired at Ukrainian military with small arms on the outskirts of Sokolnyky, Nikishyne and in Pisky. Ridkodub and Pisky also came under mortar fire.
