Over a night, in the ATO area, militants carried out three armed provocations against Ukrainian military, who, keeping to the silence regime, did not open return fire.
ATO Spokesman Leonid Matiukhin told a briefing at the Ukrainian crisis media center Thursday, Ukrinform’s correspondent reports.
“A night in the ATO area passed relatively calmly. Over a period from 18:00 to 7:00 a.m. in the morning, three armed provocations on the part of terrorists were fixed. Militants shelled from small arms the settlements of Kodema, Avdiyivka, and since 3:00 a.m. to 3:05 – a new terminal of the Donetsk airport,” he said.
In addition, yesterday in the evening, in the area of Hnutove, at the height of more than one kilometer the enemy drone was observed.
“As before, our military, keeping to the silence regime, did not respond to provocations and did not open fire,” Matiukhin said.
