Lavrov, Kerry to meet in Rome due to situation in Ukraine

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry will meet in Rome on Monday, December 15.
The U.S. Department of State informed, Radio Free Europe/Radio Freedom reported.
As the U.S. Department of State says in its statement, at this meeting the situation in the east of Ukraine will be discussed. In addition, the Ministers will discuss the situation in the Middle East, in particular, in Israel and on the West Bank, Jerusalem and the region in general, as well as UN initiatives.
Earlier, Russian media reported that a meeting of Kerry and Lavrov may take place December 14, and they did not say about its agenda.
Last time, the politicians met at the OSCE Ministerial Council in Basel, December 4.
