The Kyiv Pechersk District Court has issued an arrest warrant for Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu.
The court ruling was made on August 26 and published on Thursday, Russian news agency TASS reported.
”The warrant expires on February 26, 2017, or from the moment the suspect arrives,” the court stated.
On August 8, the Prosecutor General`s Office of Ukraine initiated criminal proceedings against 18 top Russian officials, including Shoigu and presidential advisor Sergey Glazyev, accusing them of crimes against Ukraine`s national security.
