Kremlin sees Minsk-2 as only document for Donbas settlement

Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov claims Minsk peace agreements dated February 2015, also known as Minsk 2, are considered to be the only document for the settlement of the Donbas crisis, according to an UNIAN correspondent in Russia.

”The Minsk agreements remain the only signed text that is a road map within this intra-Ukrainian settlement. There are no changes here,” Peskov told journalists, commenting on a statement by expert of the political subgroup of the Trilateral Contact Group on Donbas Olga Aivazovska.

At the same time, he noted that he was not familiar with this statement.

Earlier, Aivazovska claimed that the issue of holding local elections in Russia-occupied Donbas was no longer on the agenda of Minsk peace talks due to the efforts of the Ukrainian side.
