A midfielder of FC Dnipro, Dnipropetrovsk, and Ukrainian national soccer team Yevhen Konoplyanka whose contract with the club expires this summer will go on playing for the Dnipropetrovsk club.
Executive director of FC Dnipro Andriy Rusol announced the news in his comments to Footboom.com.
“No one sells Konoplyanka. He stays in our club,” Rusol said.
As a background note, the British media have actively “sold” Yevhen Konoplyanka to Tottenham Hotspur in London recently. Earlier it was also reported Italian and Turkish soccer clubs might sign up the Ukrainian player.
