Komorowski ready to sell Polish weapons to Ukraine

Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski has said he is planning to visit Kyiv in April next year. In addition, he said, Poland sees no problems in the sale of weapons to Ukraine.
Komorowski said this at a press conference with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in Warsaw on Wednesday, an Ukrinform correspondent in Poland reports.
“I am glad that in April I will have an opportunity to be in Kyiv, and it will be another step to strengthen cooperation between Ukraine and Poland,” Komorowski said.
He stressed that Poland was a reliable ally of Ukraine and wanted to support it on the path of rapprochement with the West.
“We show our solidarity with Ukraine and support Ukraine at international forums,” the Polish president said.
Komorowski said that Warsaw would provide support to Kyiv in reforming the country, particularly in the decentralization of the country.
He said that no embargo on arms sales had been imposed on Ukraine and therefore Warsaw “can help with this if Ukraine expresses such a desire.” He added that Poland also wanted to help Ukraine in reforming the Ukrainian army.
