Khodorkovsky: Savchenko should be released immediately

Russian opposition leader and former owner of YUKOS Mikhail Khodorkovsky urges not to bring the situation in the legal deadlock and to release Ukrainian pilot Nadiya Savchenko.
He has posted this on website of his project Open Russia on Friday. https://openrussia.org/post/view/2361/
“In order not to bring the situation in the legal deadlock with an extremely bloody output, Nadiya Savchenko should be released immediately and the organizers of such a dumb thing – punished for harming Russia,” Khodorkovsky writes.
According to the former head of Yukos, the Russian Investigative Committee is going to prove in the Moscow City Court that Savchenko adjusted the fire of batteries that killed Russian journalists. “My personal experience shows that the Russian Investigative Committee always lies (even if you ask them about the day of the week),” he notes.
The reason for the war, according to Khodorkovsky, is money. “Nearly three hundred Russian citizens and from three to five thousand Ukrainians have been killed, and this is just the tip of the iceberg! … In fact everything is done for the profit of a small group of people around Putin,” Khodorkovsky mentions.
In addition, the opposition leader urges Russians to join the anti-war march on March 1.
As reported, Mikhail Khodorkovsky expressed the hope that “Putin and his henchmen will take a balanced decision to leave and there will be no shooting. I hope that such a decision will be taken once.”
