Jaresko expects economic growth in 2016

Ukrainian Finance Minister Natalie Jaresko predicts economic growth in Ukraine in 2016.
She said this in an interview with the Focus magazine.
“I hope that we will see economic growth in 2016. I think we will also cope with the key tasks -conducting business deregulation, de-monopolization and deregulation of markets, and restoring investors’ confidence in the country,” Jaresko said.
According to her, it is too early to talk about specific figures.
“I have a lot of ideas. Some of them require an increase in expenses and others a reduction. We certainly need to balance the situation with Naftogaz’s budget deficit and utility rates. We also need to reconsider existing benefits for broad layers of the population toward targeted aid to the people who really need it. All this is being discussed,” the minister said.
