The report by the International Monetary Fund on economies in Central and Eastern Europe included Russia in the list of the region`s politically unstable countries.
The Fund estimated Russia`s instability rate at between 60 and 70 points, whereas a state is considered unstable with a minimum of 50 points, according to the report.
Meanwhile, Ukraine has gotten into the same group, along with Belarus, Moldova, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Turkey.
Kosovo and Montenegro – the states established recently – are also recognized by the IMF as unstable. The research claims that nearly half of the countries across the region undergo political uncertainty.
