A mission from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will visit Ukraine in November 2014 to review the program of cooperation with the country, the press office of the National Bank of Ukraine has reported.
“The mission is coming for the second review of the stand-by program,” the report says.
On September 25, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko stressed the need for the revision of the program of cooperation between Ukraine and the IMF, taking into account the current realities.
“[It is necessary] to review the IMF program, which was designed for peacetime, and make adjustments there taking the recent events into consideration,” Poroshenko said.
