Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Hroisman supports an initiative on the prompt abolition of parliamentary immunity.
He said this at the Conciliation Board, Ukrinform reports.
“As regards the removal of immunity, I personally, as Chairman of the parliament support it … I really would like that we reviewed it as soon as possible and finally removed it,” he said.
However, Hroisman said that he had never enjoyed the privilege of immunity and had “any problem” with it.
