Training of the Armed Forces of Ukraine began at the artillery school in Idar-Oberstein. The day before, they arrived in Germany on a plane of the German Armed Forces from Poland.

“Today, training of Ukrainian soldiers on Panzerhaubitze 2000 started in Germany. We, together with the Netherlands, plan to train up to 18 Ukrainian crews. This means that neither Germany nor NATO will become belligerent.”

The training will last approximately 40 days, but may end earlier if the soldiers are trained faster.
