Gazprom may start gas supplies to Ukraine within 48 hours.
This was stated by Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller, RIA Novosti reported.
“Gazprom may begin deliveries to Ukraine within 48 hours. It all depends on advance payment,” the agency reported, citing Miller.
As Ukrinform reported, late on October 30, Ukraine, the EU and Russia completed talks in Brussels on temporary conditions of Russian natural gas supplies in the winter period.
The negotiators reached agreement by signing two documents: a trilateral protocol between the governments of Ukraine, Russia and the European Commission, and an additional agreement to the contract between NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine and OJSC Gazprom.
The arrangements will be in effect until March 31, 2015.
