About 2,000 Ukrainian soldiers will undergo military training in the territory of France. Defense Minister noted that training would be held soon. It will last for several weeks and Ukrainian servicemen will have the opportunity to improve their skills and then apply them on the battlefield.

“The President [Emmanuel Macron – ed.] has approved a training plan that will allow up to 2,000 Ukrainian soldiers to be welcomed in France. They will be assigned to our units for several weeks.”

According to the Minister, France had already delivered 18 Caesar howitzers to Ukraine and talks were ongoing to send six more.

Earlier, it became known that France will deliver radar and air defense systems to Ukraine within the next few weeks. This will assist Ukraine to protect itself against Russian missile and drone attacks.
