Foreign Ministry confirms preliminary agreement on contact group meeting

Ukraine is ready for the meeting of the trilateral contact group and is waiting for approval of the document to be considered during a meeting, deputy foreign minister of Ukraine for European integration Olena Zerkal has said at the briefing, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Indeed, there is a preliminary agreement to hold a meeting today or tomorrow. That is, we are ready at any time,” she says.
According to her, the document which is currently being agreed upon, will address the implementation of Minsk agreements, in particular the paragraph on the equipment withdrawal.
Zerkal noted that meetings in the “Normandy format” are possible only after ensuring the efficient operation of the trilateral contact group.
