The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has confirmed that a meeting in the “Normandy format” could be held at the ministerial level.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Yevhen Perebyinis said this in comments to Ukrinform.
“The possibility of a ministerial meeting is being considered, but now I cannot name the date yet. It depends on agreements,” Perebyinis said.
He noted that the meeting in the “Normandy format” at the level of ministers would depend on the results of agreements reached in Berlin.
As reported, a meeting in the “Normandy format” on the settlement of the situation in eastern Ukraine is being held in Berlin on Monday. Ukraine is represented by Director of the Foreign Ministry’s Policy and Communications Department Oleksiy Makeyev.
