Foreign ministers of Germany and Britain will discuss security issues and support for Ukraine

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany noted on January 5, 2023, that the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany, Annalena Berbock, went on a visit to London, where, within the framework of the first German-British strategic dialogue, she would discuss with her British colleague James Cleverley, in particular, additional support for Ukraine.

“Furthermore, we want to engage in even closer dialogue, so that we can provide Ukrainians with weapons and winter relief, as well as help them with sanctions packages, so that they can win the war and live in freedom and peace, like us. The sooner Putin realises that his brutal war of aggression is doomed to fail, the more swiftly we can begin to hope for an end to the war,” noted the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany.

This is Annalena Baerbock’s first visit to Great Britain. It was planned for 2022, but was postponed several times.
