Europe may recognize DPR and LPR as terrorists

The European Union is considering including the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) and Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR) in the list of terrorist organizations.
This is stated in a resolution released after a meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council in Brussels on Tuesday, BBC reported.
“[The Council] strongly condemns the continuation of illegal activities by armed militants in eastern Ukraine and elsewhere, which has caused the loss of life of many innocent people. Further consideration will be given to the possible designation of these groups as terrorist organizations,” read the conclusions.
As reported, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said that Ukraine would ask the international community to recognize the self-proclaimed DPR and LPR as terrorist organizations.
