EBRD to finance Ukrainian project office for reforms

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development allocates $1.08 million for the creation of a project office for reforms in Ukraine.
Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration, Chairman of the National Reform Council Dmytro Shymkiv said this at a briefing in the Presidential Administration on Wednesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“As part of the discussion, it was decided to create a project office to support the development and implementation of reforms. It will work as part of the National Reform Council,” he said.
Thus, according to Shymkiv, the task of the project office will be to coordinate the work and involve the examination. “The project office is the result of four months of negotiations with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development,” he added.
Shymkiv also said that in the near future a contest for the position of Project Office Director would be conducted and at the moment Ukraine had already appealed to recruitment companies to find candidates for the post of project manager.
