Donetsk residents receive Ukrainian humanitarian aid

Two trucks with humanitarian aid donated by a religious organization for Donetsk residents crossed over the checkpoint near the town of Kurakhove.
Andriy Lysenko, ATO spokesman, announced the news at a Monday press conference, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Trucks delivered ten tonnes of food, including canned meat and fish, grain products, sugar, salt, tea, cookies, etc.,” Lysenko said.
According to him, there is another way in which the assistance is provided to the citizens who are distressed as a result of criminal activities carried out by the terrorists. “Ukraine’s State Service for Emergencies branch in Kirovohrad region supported by local authorities and volunteers organized a New Year party for the IDP children. The staff rescuers quizzed them on life safety guidelines and presented candies to every child,” the spokesman said.
