“In recent months, we launched a new aid program for Ukraine in 2023 in the amount of 1 billion euros. Its main goal is the reconstruction of Ukraine. A special place in this program will be directed to the reconstruction of Mykolaiv,” said the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Denmark.

Lars Løkke Rasmussen emphasized that he condemns the recent Russian missile attacks on Mykolaiv but this only reinforces Denmark’s determination to help Ukraine.

Earlier, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksii Reznikov said that Denmark handed over the first Caesar self-propelled artillery installations to Ukraine. According to Oleksii Reznikov, Ukraine and Denmark launched a project to obtain Caesar self-propelled guns in August 2022.
