Conditions of Minsk agreements will not be changed – Chaly

The Presidential Administration claims that the position of the European Union on Russia remains unchanged – compliance with Minsk agreements, which will not change.
Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Valeriy Chaly told a briefing in Kyiv, a Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“During the meeting of the European Union Council, held recently at the level of Foreign Ministers, a document was adopted, which clearly notes that the EU position for support of Ukraine is non-recognition of the annexation of Crimea, support of clear positions on three main priorities of implementation of the Minsk agreements – closing of the border, ceasefire, completion of exchange of hostages, and the OSCE monitoring. The Minsk Protocol of September 5 and the Memorandum of September 19 are the basic documents for implementation. No coordinates, which are approved by Ukraine today, are going to be changed and this clear position is kept today,” he said.
Chaly also emphasized that a visit of Petro Poroshenko to Milan repeatedly confirmed the clear and solidary position of European partners on support of Ukraine.
