An issue about possible resignation of National Bank governor Valeria Hontareva was not discussed during recent meetings of the People’s Front faction.
Faction representative MP Tetiana Chornovol said in a conversation with an Ukrinform correspondent.
“We did not discuss an issue about possible resignation of Hontareva at recent faction meetings. But we have many questions to her,” Chornovol noted.
She also added that she personally wants to know whether Hontareva helped Yanukovych invest the stolen funds into bonds.
“There is a question which is very interesting for me – it consists in the fact that Yanukovych invested the stolen funds into bonds over previous years. There are no facts, but I’ve heard information that Hontareva helped him in this. Therefore, it is very important for me to clarify this issue,” Chornovol said.
