Canada permits Ukraine International Airline to fly to Canadian cities

Ukraine International Airline has received an official communication from the aviation authorities of Canada on successful completion of the aviation security measures assessment and permission to operate transatlantic flights to its cities.
The press service of the Ukrainian carrier has reported.
The press service noted that in the framework of long-haul program the airline plans to launch non-stop transatlantic service on Kyiv – Toronto – Kyiv route in summer 2015 schedule.
As a background note, Ukraine International Airlines is a private Ukrainian company. It was founded as a public company in 1992 and fully privatized in 2011. The carrier’s fleet consists of medium- and long-haul aircraft. Boryspil International Airport is a base airport for the carrier.
