Cabinet decides to set up ”single customs window”

On May 25, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to implement a technology of a ”single window” at customs in Ukraine.
Presenting the project of a ”single window” at customs, Finance Minister Oleksandr Danylyuk said that the system provides for the establishment of a unified electronic database to be used by regulatory authorities at customs.
”The introduction of a ”single window” will simplify customs procedures, minimize the human factor and reduce corruption at customs, and promote international trade,” the minister said at the government meeting.
