Britain provided Ukraine with 900 generators and 15,000 sets of winter kits for the military

The British Minister of Defence Ben Wallace noted on December 20, 2022, that Great Britain had already handed over hundreds of generators and sets of winter uniforms for Ukrainian servicemen as part of the aid to Ukraine during the winter due to the destruction of the energy infrastructure by Russia.

“The winter kits include warm clothing, heavy sleeping bags and insulated tents. So far, London has already provided more than 15,000 kits and 900 power generators,” noted the British Minister of Defence Ben Wallace.

In total, the international community gave Ukraine about 1.23 million winter kits.

“Another 10,000 kits are expected to be delivered by Christmas,” added Ben Wallace.

Earlier, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak announced that Britain would provide Ukraine with least £2.3 billion (€2.6 billion) in military aid in 2023. In addition, another 19,200  Ukrainian soldiers and officers will start training in the UK in 2023.
