Both, population and militants disappointed in Novorossia project – NSDC

Residents of both the “DPR” and the “LPR” are currently disappointed in the Kremlin project of the so-called Novorossia, seeking for possibility “to turn back.”
Spokesman of the NSDC Information-Analytical Center Andriy Lysenko told a briefing Thursday, Ukrinform’s correspondent reports.
“Time has shown that the local population, which was, according to the organizers, to side with the people, who came from Russia, quickly understood the situation. And we see by the waves of protests and riots that people want to return the days that were before the so-called DPR and LPR, to quietly continue to live, to receive pensions and wages,” the NSDC Spokesman said, answering the reporters’ questions.
He said about the documented facts of desertion and transition of militants to the side of Ukraine. Active transfer of information by them also shows that even those, who took up arms and believed in the so-called Novorossia, are seeking “to turn back,” Lysenko stressed.
