Bankova Street wants meeting of trilateral contact group

Ukrainian authorities are preparing for a new trilateral meeting of the Contact Group (Ukraine, Russia and the OSCE) on implementation of a peaceful plan for the country’s east, as there are specific questions for discussion.
Deputy Head of Presidential Administration on Foreign Relations Valeriy Chaly told a briefing in Kyiv, a Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Holding a trilateral meeting of the contact group is an important element (for implementation of Minsk arrangements – Ed.). There are specific issues that today may be the subject of discussion because we insist on this,” he said, when asked about the possibility of a new meeting of the trilateral contact group.
Deputy Head of Presidential Administration reported that the position of Ukraine consists in preparing for such a meeting. “We expect that this position is supported by all its members,” he said.
