ATO: Two Ukrainian Su-25 warplanes shot down on border with Russia

Militants have shot down in the south of Luhansk region two Ukrainian Su-25 fighter planes that performed tasks on covering the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) forces from air, ATO spokesman Vladyslav Selezniov has said.
“Two Su-25 planes (they work in pairs) performed the task on covering the ATO forces from air. Pro-Russian militants fired on them with anti-aircraft missile systems. Despite anti-missile maneuvers and the shooting of heat traps, both aircraft sustained damage. The pilots ejected,” he said.
Selezniov said that the attack had been committed near the village of Dmytrivka in the south of Luhansk region.
