The anti-terrorist operation (ATO) forces are preparing for the final stage of the operation to liberate Donetsk, Ukrainian National Security and Defence Council (NSDC) information and analytical center spokesman Andriy Lysenko told Reuters.
“The forces of the anti-terrorist operations are preparing for the final stage of the liberation of Donetsk. Our forces completely cut Luhansk from Donetsk. We are working on the liberation of the two cities,” Lysenko said.
He also added that the liberation of Donetsk is a priority for the National Guard of Ukraine (NGU).
