“Russian troops have mined huge amounts of Ukrainian territory. According to various analysts and experts, it will take seven to ten years to demine the entire territory, including the south and west of the country,” explained an adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

According to Rostyslav Smirnov, Ukraine’s explosives are engaged in humanitarian demining while the liberation of Ukrainian territories continues. These are the main arteries – roads, houses, streets, etc. It is not about large fields, afforestation, forests, etc.

The adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine called on all Ukrainians to observe safety rules. He also noted that Ukrainian deminers work around the clock.
