Airports of Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk operating now – Selezniov

Airports of Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk, closed since December 13 for flights, have already resumed their work. Antiterrorist measures still continue at the Zaporizhzhia airport.
Acting chief of the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Vladyslav Selezniov told a briefing in Kyiv, Ukrinform’s correspondent reports.
“As of this minute, two airports are opened out of three. As concerns the third airport, I know that measures are carried out there, which are held according to the anti-terror plan,” Selezniov said.
He noted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine were not initiators of closing the airports, since according to the applicable legislation of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine is engaged in anti-terrorist activities.
Representatives of the press service of the General Staff denied information about alleged landing of NATO aircraft in Ukraine over recent days.
Earlier, mass media, referring to head of the State Aviation Service of Ukraine Denys Antoniuk reported that the airports of Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv will be opened on Tuesday. At the same time, the Zaporizhzhia airport will be closed until Saturday.
As it is known, the State Aviation Service closed for flights airports of Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia at 00:00 a.m. December 13 due to security considerations.
