Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukrain considers appointments in future Trump`s Administration main indicator of relations with U.S.

After the victory of Republican candidate Donald Trump in the U.S. presidential election, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine considers further appointments in the Administration of the new president, including the post of Secretary of State, the Secretary for Security and the National Security Advisor, an important indicator of the bilateral relations, Ukrainian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Vadym Prystaiko told journalists before the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on Wednesday.

”We need to understand how this will affect us,” said the Ukrainian diplomat.

”But we look forward to many stabilizing factors, not only in American society, but also in the establishment. And the statements that were made, I think they were made for the campaign. It is an important indicator to see who will be elected Secretary of State, Secretary for [Homeland] Security, National Security Advisor. These things will be important as an indicator,” Prystaiko said.
