Territorial concessions are not acceptable to 84% of respondents.

Only 10% of respondents believe that in order to achieve peace and preserve independence, it is acceptable to give up some Ukrainian territories. Another 6% of people are undecided.

In all regions of Ukraine, the absolute majority of the population is against any territorial concessions. In the east, where fierce fighting is taking place, the patriotic mood of the population has only strengthened: from May to July, the number of those who are against any concessions in the eastern regions increased from 68% to 77% (only 16% are ready for concessions). 82% oppose concessions (only 10% are ready) in the south of Ukraine. There were no significant changes in other regions.

“The results of the survey show that despite the possible increase in fatigue, the worsening of the socio-economic situation, heavy battles and terrorist attacks, Ukrainians remain united on the issue that the aggressor cannot be made concessions. If the goal of terror attacks is to frighten Ukrainians and force them to peace, then it is possible to state another failure of Russia and other evidence of a total misunderstanding of Ukrainian society”, – comments the deputy director of KIIS Anton Grushetskyi.
