6 Ukraine troops wounded in past 24 hrs in ATO zone

No Ukrainian soldiers were killed May 20 in the zone of the Anti-Terrorist Operation in the Ukrainian Donbas but six were wounded in the shelling, according to presidential administration spokesman for ATO Andriy Lysenko, an UNIAN correspondent reported from the official`s Kyiv briefing.
”Over the past day, no Ukrainian soldiers were killed in hostilities, six were wounded,” said Lysenko.
According to the official, one soldier was wounded during the shelling near the village of Zaitseve, five – near the village of Opytne.
Lysenko also said that illegal armed groups attacked mainly in the dark or in twilight, including in the last day when three attacks were recorded in the Luhansk direction near Triohіzbenka and Novozvanіvka.
In Mariupol direction, the terrorists fired 10 times on the strongholds of the Ukrainian troops. The most intense situation was recorded in Novotroitske, Franchuk and Pavlopil.
In the Donetsk direction, attacks were reported north of Horlivka in Avdeevka and Opytne.
”The density of enemy fire increased significantly. Yesterday was 230 shells were fired by illegal armed groups. There was a total of seven enemy attacks in Donetsk direction,” said Lysenko.
