Vadym Zutzeit specified that athletes who defended Ukraine on the battlefield and during Russian bombings were killed.

Vadym Zutzeit Russia must be accountable for all the crimes committed. He called for additional tough sanctions against Russia.

In particular:

  • to suspend the national sports bodies of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus from international sports federations;
  •  to deprive all persons associated with aggressor countries of influence on international sports federations: remove them from boards and organizational committees;
  •  to prohibit the participation of representatives of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus in international competitions in any status;
  • to ban the broadcasting of all sports competitions in these countries.
