Former CBA head to advise government of Moldova


The former head of Poland’s anticorruption body Paweł Wojtunik has told Onet.pl webportal that he will become an EU high level adviser to the Prime Minister of Moldova. He will help in combating corruption as one of Europe’s poorest countries is making efforts to join the EU.
“I wasn’t recommended by anyone. Several colleagues from abroad told me that there is such a contest, urging me to apply, so I did apply. I went through the whole procedure, with the government of Moldova having the final say,” Wojtunik said.
