People of Mariupol are against the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from Shyrokyne

Residents of the Ukrainian city of Mariupol are against the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from the village of Shyrokyne. This weekend they gathered for the rally to support Ukrainian troops, and called against the demilitarization of Shyrokyne but for demilitarization of so-called illegal terroristic republics as “DNR” and “LNR”.

On March 2015, activists in Ukrainian port city Mariupol made a human chain in the center of the city as a sign that they don’t want to be “saved” by Russian forces, and to show their support for Ukraine as a unitary state and peace.

Russian forces are shelling at the Ukrainian village of Shyrokyne near Mariupol with heavy artillery. As it was reported by Ukrainian NSDC, Russia-backed militant groups fired at the Ukrainian troops 10 times in vicinity of Shyrokyne village.

Besides, Geoffrey Pyatt, on his official Twitter wrote that it was very important to fulfill the main points of the Minsk Agreements:

“With calls to follow the Minsk agreements, it is important to remember the main points that have not been fulfilled ”

Recently pro-Russian terrorists used OSCE observers as ‘human shield’ and fired at Shyrokyne village from howitzers.
