Massive explosion of Russian artillery ammunition in Donetsk, Russian press spreading rumors of a missile strike. Video

At about 9:15 p.m., Feb. 2, a massive explosion took place in Russian-controlled Donetsk.

Video from security camera:

Journalist Denys Kazanskyi wrote on Facebook:

“Information is circulating online about a strong explosion near Motel [a hotel in Donetsk] not far from my house, where I lived before the war.

“Militants initially claimed the arrival of a Tochka missile and then said it allegedly was the Uragan system.

“The real picture is as follows. Kamufliazh (camouflage) military store has been completely destroyed by an impact. The rubble is scattered all over the road. It looks like an ammo warehouse detonated. Russian journalist Kots says a truck has exploded.

“If so, it must have been carrying something very explosive. The nearby dorms have not been affected. Even the lights are on inside.”
