Russian Air Force to acquire more than ten 5th generation T-50 fighter jets
The Russian Aerospace Forces are planning to acquire a squadron of the latest T-50 (PAK FA) fighters, as reported by Colonel General Viktor Bondarev, Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Aerospace Forces in an interview for the Krasnaya Zvezda newspaper.
“We don’t need a party of two or three machines, but much more. We want to acquire enough planes to make up a squadron. And then gradually bring the number of these planes to what is required, and in so doing, to achieve a new level of quality,” Bondarev said. In the Aerospace Forces, a squadron consists of 12 planes.
