November 28 – Members of “Batkivshchyna” Party Yulia Tymoshenko and Andriy Kozhemyakin have registered a draft law on impeachment procedure of the President of Ukraine. Tymoshenko has started a new game?
November 28 – During an OPEC meeting on November 27th in Vienna, it has been decided to keep the current quota for oil production of 30 million barrels per day to June 2015. After the announcement, the price of WTI on the New York Commodity Exchange fell below 70 USD, reaching 67.75 USD per barrel – a minimum price since May 2010. This is another blow to Russia’s economy, which is based on oil exports.
November 28 – On Friday, the terrorists attacked ATO positions 32 times, using various weapons throughout the length of the front, – informs ATO’s press center. 12 times the terrorists attacked Donetsk airport and strongpoints of Ukrainian troops around it. All attacks were repulsed.
November 28 – Military equipment convoy entered Ukraine from Russia, – informed NSDC spokesman Andriy Lysenko. Relocation of heavy weapons and rotation of Russian servicemen continue. At 6 am on November 27th military equipment convoy consisting of 11 tanks, 2 “Tiger” infantry vehicles, 4 KAMAZ trucks and 8 track tractors have been recorded moving towards the town of Komsomolske (Donetsk oblast) from Russia.
November 28 – Western countries do not intend to abolish sanctions against Russia as long as it occupies Ukrainian territory, including Crimea, – stated German Chancellor Angela Merkel in a personal conversation with Crimean Tatar leader Mustafa Dzhemilev.
November 27 – Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine [national parliament] of VIII convocation has officially began operating.
November 27 – A parliamentary majority has been established in Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. It includes 302 deputies from “Poroshenko Block,” “Narodnyi Front”, “Batkivshchyna”, Lyashko’s Radical Party and “Samopomich”.
November 27 – Volodymyr Hroysman, a deputy elected as part of “Poroshenko Block”, was also elected as the Chairman of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. 359 deputies voted in favor of this decision.
November 27 – President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has signed a coalition request about Arseniy Yatsenyuk as a candidate for the post of the Prime Minister of Ukraine. 341 deputies of Verkhovna Rada have voted in favor of this decision – Yatsenyuk has been elected as the Head of Ukrainian government.
November 27 – Assembling of the first stage of the new border gas station Budince has commenced in Slovakia. The gas station will be used to import European natural gas into Ukraine, – a statement by “Ukrtransgaz”.
November 27 – President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has said that there will be no federalization of Ukraine. “Constitutional majority of Ukraine believes Ukraine should remain a unitary country. There will be no federalization!” – Poroshenko said.
November 27 – Brent crude oil prices continue to fall; current price is under 76 USD. Kuwait is ready for a price of 60 USD. This is a catastrophe for Russia’s budget.
November 27 – The government of Moldova doesn’t plan to give up its neutral status and prepare Moldova to join NATO, stated Prime Minister of Moldova Iurie Leanca.
