December 10 – No Ukrainian military were killed in the last 24 hours in the ATO area – this is a first such day since the beginning of the operation, – informed NSDC spokesman Andriy Lysenko.

December 10 – The leader of Russian terrorist “cossack regiment” in Pervomaisk Yevhen Ishchenko is threatening the leader of “People’s Republic of Luhansk” Igor Plonytskiy to “deploy weapons in Lugansk”. He has said this on camera in Pervomaisk, apparently as a result of municipal crisis.

December 10 – Russian President Vladimir Putin has created a parallel information reality, which is set to prove that Russia is not involved in war in Ukraine, but it hasn’t worked – writes journalist Paul Roderick Gregory in his Forbes article. According to Gregory, Putin has used a troll army throughout his presidency. Google counts 1,5 million media entries under “Putin attacks Ukraine”. The trolls must convince their audience that the Google entry should read instead “Ukraine attacks Russia”.

December 10 – “If the pro-Western government formed in Kyiv this month fails to reform the economy and fight corruption, the efforts of Ukrainians who risked their lives in street protests could be in vain”, – said U.S. Vice President Joe Biden at an event at the National Democratic Institute in Washington. He said that Ukrainians have a chance again, and “they can’t blow it”. “Freedom is over 25 years old and they blew it; there was the Orange Revolution and they blew it.” He warned: “They don’t have many more chances in the near term.”

December 10 – Contact group consisting of the representatives of Ukraine, Russia and the OSCE notes the unwillingness of separatist leaders to negotiate about ceasefire in Donbas – group’s press-statement (dated December 9th). Tripartite contact group includes Ambassador Heidi Tagliavini (OSCE), second president of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma, and the Ambassador of Russia to Ukraine Mikhail Zurabov.
